Cardiff’s exciting new collaborative supper club concept, Meal Squared, is about to begin a 6 week residency at Waterloo Tea in Wyndham Arcade.
What is Meal Squared? The concept is all about bringing local independents together to combine their talents and offer truly one-off menus for the food lovers of Cardiff. Each date within the 6 week residancy will see special guests join The Dead Canary, Waterloo Tea and Penylan Pantry, meaning each event will be a special and unique occasion. Come, join us!
The evening of Sunday 20th November sees James Sommerin, Penylan Pantry, Waterloo Tea, Spillers Records and The Dead Canary join forces to kick off the residency with a bang.
Throughout the evening you will feast on 6 courses, sip cocktails, be immersed in music, and be wowed by speciality teas.
This is how your evening will look……..
~Michelin-starred chef James Sommerin. The owner of one of the most highly rated restaurants in Wales will be taking time out from his busy restaurant in Penarth to concoct a creative menu of small plates specifically for this event.
~Mel & Jo are bringing the best of Penylan Pantry to your plates. All the ingredients used will be sourced from the Pantry shelves, deli and larder.
~Waterloo Tea. Kasim Ali and his team will be creatively brewing custom-blended teas to be served between each course
~Jon and his team at The Dead Canary have carefully curated a cocktail menu to compliment all the delicious food you will be eating throughout the evening. There will also be an excellent range of wines and beers, as well as mocktails
~Spillers Records. As if the food and drink weren’t enough to entice, Ashli from Spillers will be DJing all night in the venue to entertain the diners.
The evening will showcase the talents, passions, and specialities of all these wonderful people
