This is one of the most outstanding Ceylon teas you will ever drink: full bodied, soothing and complex. Harvested in the Summer, this tea offers a clean, wiry and black leaf. The liquor shows character and depth in the classical sense of Ceylon teas.
Although it takes milk well, it is delicious black.
This Ceylon is composed of long whole leaf from Kenilworth Estate. Situated in the Central Province Ginigath Hena, approximately 102km from Colombo. The elevation is 610 metres above sea level.
In 1972, the island then known as Ceylon reverted to the traditional name of Sri Lanka, but retained the name of Ceylon for the marketing of teas.
