Meghalaya - Lakyrsiew

Caramel and Honey.

You may never try a tea more delicious than this.

Opening with subtlety and sweetness, followed by rich notes of chocolate, caramel and honey. Best taken black.

This is a delicate yet rich infusion from the state of Meghalaya which sits between Darjeeling and Assam. Tea cultivation was originally intended for Meghalaya by the British, but due to local opposition their attention was diverted to the neighbouring states, which are now infamous.

Lakyrsiew is the name of the farm and translates as "The Awakening"

An Autumn harvest, versus the more established spring and summer harvests, this tea is one of our stand out black teas.

Small lot, incredible attention to detail when processing and harvesting.

If you ever want to impress - this is a refined option.

Size: 50g
