Joe Rowson (Head Chef at Waterloo Tea) and Ericka Duffy (www.erickaduffy.com) are collaborating to create an evening of food, drink and scent.
Ericka Duffy is a barista and bartender who works with some of the best bars in the world. She has created sensory events in Japan, Korea, Canada, and the UK based on drink and scent. She creates menus to tell stories. Each event she has done has never been replicated in the same fashion. Thus the cocktail menu for Valentine's Day at Waterloo Tea will be a complete once-in-a-lifetime experience. She has worked with the Edinburgh Film Festival, the Edinburgh Science Festival, the Milan Film Festival, and contemporary art galleries, Fruitmarket and RED Gallery, presenting multi-sensory events. Having recently moved from Edinburgh she is very excited to now be, primarily, based in Cardiff, and to be collaborating with Waterloo Tea on special events.

The cost is £40pp which includes 5 chapters of food paired with teas. Cocktails will also be available and created to synchronise with the food and the day.

Treacle cured Beef rump, potato and celeriac puree, slow roasted shallots, onion ring, red wine sauce

Dark Chocolate ganache, sweet pastry, hazelnut creme anglais, caramel dipped hazelnuts
