In December 2012 it will have been 4 years since the Teahouse opened her doors. During this time we have carried out minor refurbishments. However, due to the fact that we are open 7 days a week, it hasn't been possible to carry out any major works. The three day closure will allow us to do this. 

The kitchen will be overhauled and made new.

Bathroom freshened up.

The counter will be relaid and a brew counter installed. In December we will see a new hot water delivery system fitted into the brew counter.

Furniture will be re-upholstered.

Wall menu will be re-designed.

Customary licks of paint.

The Teahouse isn't being re-designed. She is being made new again.
