This is a delicate yet rich infusion from the state of Meghalaya which sits between Darjeeling and Assam. Tea cultivation was originally intended for the Meghalaya by the British, but due to local opposition their attention was diverted to the neighbouring states, which are now infamous.
Lakrsiew is the name of the farm and translates as "The Awakening"

Opening with subtlety and sweetness, followed by rich notes of chocolate, caramel and honey. Best black, but can take milk.
