This glorious, lightly-fermented puerh tea will surprise you with its nuance and incredible depth of flavour.We love its deeply woody, yet clean and smooth flavour with lingering sweet undertones and low astringency.
The leaves come from Xiao Hu Sai Village and Da Xue Shan tea bushes from the autumn harvest of 2019, celebrating the Year of the Pig. Our Puerh cakes truly highlight the huge variety of teas that are available from this processing style.
Puerh compressed into cakes was historically used as a form of currency too - being much easier to transport and trade with versus the loose leaf teas or other crops.
Each "mini cake" is approximately 7 grams - enough for approximately a 500ml teapot or one of your larger mugs.
Can be re-infused multiple times.
