Sponsor Profile - Hario

One of the most important partners needed for the Tea Brewers Cup was the teaware category. The foundation of the competition was to make entry easy to all those who were interested, and along with the supply of a fixed water as well as hot water boilers, we wanted entrants to have the safeguard of having teaware available should they wish to use it. Competitors are able to bring their own brewing equipment too, but when it came to making a choice of who to partner up with for teaware then the choice was very easy. Hario have added to the aesthetic of tea and coffee in recent years and have played a big part in allowing speciality slow brew drinks to catch the publics imagination.

Coffee and tea are closely-connected beverage, and we are manufacturing tools for both. By using this unique position in the industry, we think it is our mission to introduce Japanese tea culture to the world. We are not a tea-farmer, but we can create products to bring out the best flavor of tea. We are looking forward to exchanging ideas with tea enthusiasts from all over the world in Dublin!"
