Delighted to announce an exciting event which will take place at Washington Tea, Penarth.

After her last fully sold out evening, we are welcoming back Yuko Harris (www.renfood.co.uk). It promises to deliver authentic Japanese cuisine that is rarely seen around these parts.

The theme for the night is izakaya – a Japanese tapas tavern.

Izakaya are drinking houses with menus of small dishes for snacking while drinking. They are casual places for after-work drinking.

Izakaya are the places where the end of the year parties called bonen-kai (forget-the-year-parties) are held, where friends and co-workers get together to wildly celebrate the end of a busy year. 

As the end of the year is approaching, Yuko would like to create a happy and vibrant atmosphere over truly authentic Japanese tapas.

There are two set menus, one of which is vegan. 

The dinner will be at 7.30pm for 8.00pm
